News

Members can submit a variety of items to the Social Diary newsletter which is sent daily at noon. The newsletter is packed full of helpful info like media & celebrity contacts, editorial opportunities, influencer info, sponsorship offers and much more. Members can also view Industry Profiles and submit their furry friends to Fang’s Pet of the Week. Arf!

Database

Members can access a variety of industry databases to find contacts of Journos, Talent, Brands & Suppliers; and add themselves as the contact for their clients. The database is self-cleaning, allowing members to report inaccurate info to keep it as current as possible. Plus, if you can’t find what you’re looking for here - we’ll find it for you!

PR Market Place

PR Market Place allows anyone looking for a PR Agency in Australia to find them all in one convenient location. Social Diary members (who are either a PR Agency or PR Freelancer) are automatically listed on PR Market Place, and brands can access the service for free.

A running calendar of international celebrities coming to Australia: when they arrive, how long they’re here for, why they’re here and how to contact them. Your one-stop shop to finding the right celebrity, right here on our doorstep.

Member Offers

Amazing competitions run every Friday in the newsletter, allowing members to own the top spot in the newsletter to showcase their client simply in return for spoiling other members. Staff Search

A reverse employment site allowing job seekers to list themselves for members looking for staff. Applicants can list themselves in the categories of Intern, Freelancer or Full-Timer, and describe what kind of job they’re looking for, when they’re available and attach their CV. Your next star employee could be right here.

A collection of albums from events all over Australia, as well as pics from the huge annual Social Diary costume parties! Members can submit a blurb and details about their client straight after their event. Party albums exist on Social Diary in perpetuity and are a great way to showcase your work to the industry and beyond.

Thrive PR L’ORÉAL PARIS BOLD BEYOND BEAUTY EVENT

On Tuesday 16th April, over 100 beauty media and influencers attended L’Oréal Paris’ Bold Beyond Beauty event at the ivy Sunroom to celebrate the official launch of the iconic brand’s seven new product lines to the Australian market for 2019.
The breakfast event featured interactive product immersions at every turn including insta-worthy stations styled to represent the hero products; with Danni Belegris, a live sketch artist from Melbourne on the Colorista Hair Makeup, an Unbelievabrow Brow Bar with L’Oréal Paris Makeup Director Noni Smith offering tips on the ultimate brow, to a stunning giant honeycomb wall to demonstrate the Age Perfect Intense Nutrition skincare range.
VIP guests were invited to trial and learn about the key benefits of each of the new products. They were also able to colour match and find their perfect shade virtually through ‘Modiface’, the groundbreaking beauty augmented reality technology available on the L’Oréal Paris website or pick out their ultimate shade of lipstick on the Rouge Signature spinning colour wheel.
The event culminated with a thought-provoking all-female panel discussion with some of the industry’s most dynamic and fearless women discussing what inspires them and the secrets to their success.
The panel, hosted by Sally Obermeder, featured L’Oreal Paris Australia Makeup Director Noni Smith; Founder and CCO of Lorna Jane Activewear, Lorna Jane Clarkson, entrepreneur and one of Australia’s most dynamic speakers, Samantha Wills and gemologist, jeweller and digital influencer, Sarah Jane Adams.
All guests departed feeling empowered and inspired along with a personalised L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Ink, a sustainable Frank Green Keep Cup, and a gift bag full of L’Oréal Paris’ latest makeup and skincare range.
